In this collaboration Lorena Fernandez created five paintings inspired by CYCLES a Gabrielle Roth's 5 Rhythms workshop in Amsterdam, Netherlands, organized by Jup Jansunious (a.k.a. Doctor Dance), Mirjam van Hasselt and Tammy Burstein from New York. Each of the paintings relates to a rhythm and stage of the life journey; Infancy, childhood, puberty, maturity and old-age/death. Gabrielle Roth created the 5Rhythms approach to movement in the late 1970's. About Lorena Fernandez
Lorena Fernandez is an artist and poet currently residing in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Her artworks are exhibited and collected internationally. She has worked in Venezuela, Singapore, Texas, USA and now has her studio in Amsterdam. 'I paint to represent my passions.
